Worth knowing before you commit

  • Indian passport holders need an e-visa, unless holding a valid Schengen/US/UK visa under current rules. We check your case.
  • The road to Kazbegi closes in heavy snow; Gergeti often needs a 4x4 with chains even in shoulder season.
  • Georgian wine is made in buried qvevri jars and tastes nothing like what you expect. Try the amber whites.
  • Tbilisi is very walkable but the old town is steep and cobbled — poor for wheeled luggage.

Common questions

Visa for Indians?

Georgia requires an e-visa for Indian passport holders, or entry is permitted for holders of valid Schengen/US/UK visas under current rules. We check your specific case at booking.

Is Kazbegi doable in winter?

The road closes in heavy snow and Gergeti often needs snow chains or is unreachable. April to October is the honest window for this itinerary.
